I’m James,
As a wedding photographer I focus on capturing the genuine emotions, unscripted interactions, and authentic details that make your day unique. I love to make honest, compelling photographs that tells your story as it is (in the best possible light). I would describe my style as documentary wedding photography with an editorial edge.
On your wedding day I will be like a guest you don’t have to entertain/look after. I'll never interrupt or get in the way. I’ll document the whole day as it unfolds allowing you and your partner to fully enjoy the day you’ve spent so long planning!
When retouching your wedding I aim to keep the edits timeless and natural as you will see from my previous weddings. I want your gallery to serve as a wonderful reminder of your day together with all of your closest people.
HOW TO BOOK

We’ll have a short call so I can hear about your plans so far and I can tell you a little bit more about how I work to see if we’re going to be the right fit for your wedding day.

After the discovery call I will send you over an official quote for your wedding photography. Once the quote is accepted a contract and invoice for you will be generated. 20% of the total package price secures your date(s) in my diary.

Between booking me as your wedding photographer and your wedding day, please keep in touch as much as you would like. Every couple is different but you will have my number and email and I am always available for a chat and to help out with your plans!

Around a month before your date we will have a zoom call/meet up where possible to go through all of your wedding plans, timings, locations etc.

I will send you over a selection of preview edits the week after your wedding. The full gallery will be with you within a maximum of 12 weeks from the wedding (almost always before this).

Literally anywhere in the world! For UK based weddings there is no excess for any travel expenses. For destination weddings I have set packages depending on destination that aim to cover all of your needs for your wedding, get in touch to hear more!

I will deliver your edited wedding gallery within 12 weeks of the wedding date (usually before this but this gives me a good buffer around the busier seasons to do your photos justice). I will also send out some previews the week after the wedding.

With my online gallery service, you can purchase wedding albums and prints at any time.

Absolutely! I definitely understand why people would want group shots of their closest family & friends. However, I always recommend keeping the number to a minimum because I want you to spend your time celebrating and not stood still having your photo taken!

The deposit is 20% of the total booking to secure your date in my calendar. The remainder of the payment is due 30 days before the wedding itself.
